Privacy Policy

We at Rhymeo know you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy. By using or accessing the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the ways listed below. Rhymeo collects information about you when you install our mobile application and through other interactions and communications you have with us.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Rhymeo app, websites, and products and services available on or at the websites (taken together, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Rhymeo LLC, and this Privacy Policy applies to information collected and used by Rhymeo LLC. Remember that your use of the Service is at all times subject to the Terms of Service, which incorporates this Privacy Policy. Any terms we use in this Privacy Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in the Terms of Service:

We may transfer the information described in this Privacy Policy to, and process and store it in, the United States. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We are constantly trying to improve the Service, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time as well. We will alert you to changes by sending you an in-app message, posting a notice on relevant social media platforms, and/or by some other means. Please note that if you've opted not to receive legal notice emails from us (or you haven't provided us with your email address), those legal notices will still govern your use of the Service, and you are still responsible for reading and understanding them. If you use the Service after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time the information is collected.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to persons anywhere in the world who use the Service, to collect data or use our customer support service.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Service or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us at

Rhymeo is an app to create freestyle raps. While enabling users to create this content, we use the following:

What we collect and why we collect it:

User device ID and IP address

To confirm that new users are not creating several accounts from the same IP address.

Device information

To better understand the user’s context for app enhancements and bug reporting, as well as to gather data that can be used for Quality Assurance.

To be able to present the user with text within the app in a language that the user understands.

Performance metrics for APIs

To ensure that all the APIs used by the app are working well in order to provide the best possible user-experience.

Battery status

To understand the impact of our app on the user’s battery.

WiFi and Cellular

To better understand the quality of the signal on the user’s device and thereby help our partners improve network coverage, as well as reactively providing a better service for users based on signal quality.

Overall, we will be logging the data mentioned above in order to better serve our users and prevent users from abusing our Services or other users. This data will be sent to Rhymeo via the third party analytics services Firebase, Datamuse, Rhymebrain, Flickr, Google Speech-to-Text SDK, and Apple Siri SDK. Some of the information mentioned above may also be shared with our partners.

The photographs shown on Rhymeo might be copyrighted by their respective owners. Rhymeo does not host photos or store any user identifiable data related to photos on its servers. The Rhymeo application utilizes a linking technology to show the images stored on Flickr’s servers and reflects whatever Flickr provides through its sharing API. Rhymeo follows the guidelines and terms of use of the Flickr API and provides link backs to the photograph’s original Flickr page so there is no misunderstanding about the image’s author, copyright or source.

Because the photos are not hosted on Rhymeo and are instead shown to the end user directly from Flickr using their sharing API, please contact Flickr directly for any concerns that you might have about how Flickr makes your photos available through their API. If you have any questions or concerns about your photo being shown on the Rhymeo application, please follow this link for opt-out instructions to the Flickr API:

Once you opt out on Flickr your photos will no longer be displayed through the Rhymeo application. Please wait up to 24 hours for this change to take place. Rhymeo respects your privacy and only shows public Flickr photos compliant with the Creative Commons Licenses and Flickr’s privacy options.

Rhymeo is not certified or endorsed by Flickr or Yahoo.
